About xWave Technologies
xWave Technologies is an Irish start-up that is on a mission to save lives by ensuring that patients get the best diagnostic imaging test first. Started by a group of leading Irish radiologists in 2020, xWave develops smart health platforms that improve patient outcomes and deliver efficiencies for health systems.
xWave have recently released our smart radiology referral platform, xRefer, which uses evidence-based guidance to support clinicians to select the best test for their patients. This results in much better patient outcomes, accurate and timely diagnosis, and significantly reduces costs for health systems.
As we roll out our xRefer platform across Ireland, Europe and UK in the coming years; we will be focused on continually improving the xRefer platform and applying AI and machine learning technologies to our data resources in order to make personalised and predictive healthcare a reality.
About The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join and support the growth of xWave Technologies. The successful candidate will plan and drive business value for both the company and our customers. This role is vital to the continued development of our smart radiology referral platform, xRefer, as well as future products within an expanding portfolio.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive a shared project and solution vision aligned with the company’s mission
Provide a clear product direction and measure product performance.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap for the delivery area that synthesizes the needs of customers over the long and short term.
Providing the appropriate product detail to the level it can be delivered by a cross functional delivery team (Engineering, DevOps, QA, Sales, Customer Success).
Customer satisfaction and program quality:
Work with customers and the customer success team to gather, analyse and prioritize customer and business requirements.
Translate customer ideas and requirements to include in product development
Include the customer in the trade-off decision making when developing new features requested by customers (customer expectations management).
Solve product issues at early stages
Continuously improve quality and performance
Hands on role, working across departments to deliver updated and new products to the sales channel.
Understand and assess the market, market demand and product fit to the market, strategic differentiation, the problem we are solving and the value proposition to inform the product roadmap.
Provide thought leadership
Identify and address emerging health trends and opportunities as they relate to the achievement of xWave’s mission.
Be the bridge between people, process and technology in the definition of what is done and how it is done to optimal outcome.
Manage multiple teams as part of the product development process.
Keep track and manage and communicate multiple projects.
Decide on product developments to steer the project/program forward
3+ years’ experience in areas related to Product Management
An agile mindset to work in a fast-paced and growing innovative environment.
Excellent communication skills to enable cross-departmental coordination to clearly articulate the vision of the product internally and externally.
Deep curiosity about customer needs and a track record in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions focussing on continuous improvement.
Comfortable with and eager to work through all points of the software development lifecycle (SDLC); workshops, gathering requirements, high- and low-level documentation of designs and architectures.
Understanding of the healthcare industry, clinical roles, and government and private healthcare organizations.
Demonstrated collaborative leadership, being able to lead across multiple functions, beyond R&D: quality assurance, product management and operations.
A track record of successfully delivering on deadlines.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Fluent English speaker. Additional language(s) is a bonus.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves:
Additional experience working in health technology
Additional experience as a clinician in healthcare delivery, research, informatics, terminologies, clinical decision support, and/or health IT systems.
Additional education and/or experience in public health, health services research, or related field.
Exposure to coding, coding standards and review.
Position: Full-time. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm however, business needs may require occasional work outside of these hours.
